You and I obviously have very different views of Ukraine. I see Ukraine as a rogue state being run by a Nazi fascist regime that was put in place by the US in a coup in 2014 that overthrew the democratically elected government in favour of a cabal of ultranationalists who were hand picked by the USA.

In other words, the US installed a Nazi regime because they had always planned to use Ukraine as a way to "weaken Russia" and inflict a strategic defeat on Putin, hopefully leading to regime change. This has always been well documented and I am surprised that you seem unaware of this.

The coup regime launched a genocidal operation against the Russian speaking population in Ukraine in 2014, killing thousands. That needed to be stopped, and Putin sought to stop it.

So, while the Ukrainian people have my sympathy, the Nazi thugs who are running the country do not. In my view, they must be not only defeated, but eradicated. The US has empowered the Banderite fascists in a way that would never have happened had we not intervened and overthrown the legitimate government. That musty be reversed before they spread their neo-Nazi white supremacist ideology throughout Europe.

You should know that the US is fond of doing such things. We did it with Pinochet. We did it with the Shah. We created and empowered jihadists like Bin Laden and Al Qaeda and ISIS.

And just the Neocons in DC are willing to ally with bloodthirsty Islamic extremists like Al Nusra/Al Qaeda and ISIS in order to defeat Assad in Syria, so are they willing to ally with Nazis in order to defeat Putin.

They must be stopped.
