Yes, I understand. This is EXACTLY the logic and the argument used by the OUN-UPA when they allied with Hitler. You were all anti-Russian, and so - again - "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". It is the logic that motivated people all over Eastern Europe, it is the logic that has motivated the USA since 1945.

That is why my country allied with, supplied arms to, trained and supported murderous bloodthirsty criminals like Pinochet, Saddam Hussein, the Shah of Iran, Osama Bin Laden, Arbenz, Somoza, Duvalier, Batista, and on and on. We even supported Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.

All you had to do was say you hated Russians, and the US money and weapons would flow into your war chests. You could skin babies alive, rape and murder nuns, castrate and behead priests - all OK as long as you declared yourself to be anti-Russian.

So you see, I do know these people.
