Nobody wants Ukraine. Why? It’s stupid, cruel and crude. Especially cruel, if you look at what Bandera's UPA did when they massacred the Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia

The (Western) Ukrainians’ behavior in Donbas shows why: with the Banderite Ukrainians comes tyranny and terror. Theft. Interrogation through torture. Genocide. Systematic murder. Privation. Starvation. And massive wanton destruction. What the Banderites bring. And the West knows it. It doesn’t care.

That said, I agree that this is a tribal conflict. Hitler was right:

“Russian Ukraine cannot be compared to Austrian Galicia… The Austrian-Galician Ruthenians are closely intertwined with the Austrian state".

Ukraine means "Borderland" and that is what it always was. The West was Austrian-Polish-Lithuanian and Catholic European; the East was Russian Orthodox. The two tribes had always coexisted, ensconced on either side of the Dnieper, neither one taking full control.

That is, until the US decided to weaponise Ukraine against Russia. That necessitated giving the Western Ukrainians full control over the State, so that a war with Russia could be prosecuted in Eastern Ukraine.

It was that interference, that "tipping of the scales" by the US and the collective West, that caused all the problems.
