While I agree with you about Fusion GPS and Russiagate and the weaponised DOJ, I have to side with Lessig on Bush v. Gore. Had the recount been allowed to continue, Gore would have won. The SCOTUS decision was 100% political and not judicial. The judges who voted to stop the recount were all Republicans and they wanted Bush to win.

That is why they wrote into the decision that this one particular ruling - unlike all other SCOTUS decisions sinc e the Founding - could npt be used as prrecedent for futre decisions. They added that caveat because they knew their decision was at its heart political and had no basis in the law or the Constitution.

And let me give you a tip: when you start quoting CNN as an authoritative source, you are losing.
