Where is your evidence for this? It seems to me to be pure Israeli propaganda. Hamas is staggeringly popular. They are thye Resistance to the Israeli occupation. The only organised resistance that exists, and the Palestinian people support them. Indeed, popular support for Hamas has "spiked" since the October 7 attacks.
