What about the Netanyahu quotes? The video? Are those fake? Please.
You are a piker. You find one part of an entire integrated argument and you attack it to try to discredit the entire thesis.
It's an old Zionist hasbarist trick. Sorry, won't work anymore.
Regarding your criticism: you base your refutation on a "report" issued by CAMERA, a shadowy cut-out for the Israeli authorities like Mossad.
The name CAMERA stands for "Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis ".
It is based in the US and Israel, and for some reason, all the inaccuracies they find are things that are critical of Israel or Israeli policy.
MediaBias describes CAMERA as follows:
"Analysis / Bias:
The website contains numerous articles and reports that focus on the Middle East, particularly Israel. The articles often critique other media outlets for their coverage of Israel and the Middle East, accusing them of bias and inaccuracies. The articles cover a wide range of topics, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the role of Hamas and other militant groups, and the influence of Iran in the region. The articles often contain detailed analysis and are critical of what the authors perceive as anti-Israel bias in international media."
That part about Iran gives the whole game away.
Kol Yisrael was originally an underground Haganah radio station, and is now part of the Israeli Public Broadcasting service - again, a part of the Israeli government. So I am not surprised that they would support whatever statement was needed to quash this bad publicity,
Let's remember that the quote attributed to Sharon was broadcast on a radio show, so there would be no written proof of what was said either way.
In this case, you can say what you want, but I will stick to my side of the story - if for no other reason than it seems so entirely and utterly plausible, given all the other things we know about Sharon, and the disdain that he showed towards the US.
And the refutation comes from a VERY shadowy/sketchy/dodgy source.
