You cannot condemn HAMAS as a dictatorial, radical Islamic sect exactly the same as ISIS and then assign them agency and legitimacy.

As soon as Hamas won the 2006 elections (thanks to millions of $$$ in funding that they received from Netanyahu), Israel imposed an embargo and a blockade that effectively shut down all civil and political society in Faza. As you well know, the Hamas politburo was forced to flee to Doha.

The fact us there is no political agency in Gaza. It is an open air concentration camp that more closely resembles the Warsaw Ghetto under the Nazis than anything even resembling a state.

Secondly, the charges of "mass rape" have never been proven. We only have second and third hand reports from Israeli officials (incl Zaka Search & Rescue, which is just a cutout for Intel services, like the White Helmets in Syria). Even teh New York Times had to retract their story about this. No one has even been able to provide an identity, a name of a woman who was raped by Hamas on 10/7.

Massacre is also misleading, since we now know that a significant number - if not an outright majority - of Israelis killed on 10/7 were killed by Israeli Apache gunships and tanks firing indiscriminately at houses and vehicles under the "Hannibal Directive" that Central Command issued that morning.
