These are all really good points! I am aware of each one, and I must confess I had some longer drafts in which I did include some of your points — expecially about the DLC, which I explain in this piece.

I agree that the WL section is weak — chalk that up to a combination of fatigue, time pressure and a desire to keep the piece from being too long.
