The number two party in Russia is the Communist Party, which regularly gets 20% of the vote. The leader of this Party, i.e. Putin's number one opponent, is Gennady Zyuganov who continues to live his life without threat. Navalny was never any serious opponent. He only ever got 1%-2% of the vote.
