That has never been proven. In fact, it is much more likely that these people - all of whom were wearing white armbands and many carrying Russian meal-packs, were "cleansed" by the SBU.

We do know that following the withdrawl of Russian forces from Bucha, the mayor made a celebratory video in which he made no mention of killings.

We do know that the SBU annouinced a "clewansing operation" in Bucha immediately following the withdrawal.

It is therefore much more likely that the poor people of Bucha were executed by the SBU as "collaborators".
