Tell me, Manuel, are you/were you an admirer of Augusto Pinochet?

Serious question.

I ask because I believe Pinochet was a vile, fascistic, murdering bastard who never should have been in power, and only assumed power because the USA/CIA was able to assassinate Allende and force a COUP.

Why?

Because Allende was a socialist who was "too close to Russia" - he nationalised the copper industry and that upset the US corporate oligarchs.

That is what the US does.

And the US did it again in 2014 in Ukraine.

Unless you perhaps wish to argue that Pinochet was a good man, and his junta was a benevolent force in Chile?
