Talk about nonsense. The Nord Stream project was a joint venture between Gazprom and 5 Western European companies (3 German, one French and one Dutch).

Gazprom only owns 51% of theconcern, so your idea that the purpose of NS was to enrich Russia is ludicrous on its face. In fact, it is more the case that the Germans were making more money on Nord Stream because the price of Russian gas was so low, they could afford to sell it on to other EU countries at a substantial markup.

In fact, as reported by POLITICO, it was a commonly accepted fact that Germany developed its booming economy THANKS to cheap Russian gas.

Russia did not lose anything through the destruction of NS. In fact, Russia is selling more gas than ever before, and thanks to the destroyed EU connection, they have successfully recruited China and India as buyers of their gas and oil. Russia is actually GROWING its industrial capacity.

Meanwhile, Germany and the rest of Europe is de-industrialising at a breakneck pace.
