Sorry, Bandera was a bloodthirsty bigot who was perfectly fine with murdering thousands in the name of Ukrainian Nationalism. I do nto believe he was naive or was duped into supporting the Nazis, I think he knew EXACTLY what the Nazis were, and what they wanted, and indeed, when it came to killing Poles and Jews and especially Russians their interests aligned perfectly and enthusiastically.

The OUN broke ranks with the Nazis, and Bandera found himself in trouble, when the UkroNazis tried to declare an independent State in Lviv. The Nazis were not going to allow that, and so Bandera went to jail. But Bandera's followers in the OUN-B fought on, exterminating whole towns, and they eventually formed their own Waffen SS Division ("Galizien") so they could go kill Russians at Stalingrad.

Hitler never killed any Jews himself. And maybe Bandera didn't either. But that doesn't mean that either deserve sympathy, let alone praise.

In any case, I see that you are comparing Bandera to the Founding Fathers, and that is turning my stomach, so I am leaving you now.
