So when you say “Bernie elected Trump” you mean it like “my grandfather defeated Hitler”. OK, I get it. But it’s a silly and useless point to make. Like saying Jill Stein elected Trump, or Ralph Nader elected Bush. Or Ross Perot elected Clinton.
