Sigh.
OK, let's take these "sources" 1 by 1.
The first YouTube video is a production of CBN, a fundamentalist/evangelical Christian network. That means CBN and their audience believe in End Times, when Christ will return and he will convert 100,000 Jews to Christianity and kill all the rest. At the same time, evangelical believers like them will not have to ever know death, because they will be "raptured" up into heaven.
That is what they believe.
So it is not unreasonable to think that these religious zealots will also believe the most fanciful, lurid and unsubstantiated things like what this i24 News girl is pushing.
Firstly, the video is NOT of "eyewitness accounts". Zedeck is standing by her story, which is that she claims IDF soldiers told her they saw some things. Period.
She herself saw nothing, witnessed nothing. She just spoke with Israeli government officials and the highly un-credible Zaka reps.
Plus, that video is six months old, and I would be interested to know if any of the stories she told in that video back in 2023 have since been proven.
Regarding the Hamas video, I cannot see this particular article because it is behind a paywall, but I do know that there are a lot of fakes out there - here is a fact check on one such video - it may even be the one that the woman referenced.
The story of the woman who was sexually abused while in detention is sad and horrible, but the attack happened in early November, not on October 7.
Still, I don't think you really want to start talking about sexual assault on prisoners and detainees, do you? I mean, THOUSANDS of Palestinian women are claiming they were raped in Israeli custody, and the authorities believe them.
So yes, I do believe the hostage that was raped, but Gregg, nothing else you have provided is anything even CLOSE to what you call "eye witness accounts". The accounts are all second or third hand, or just someone who saw a film on social media.
AND NOW - the masterpiece of mainstream HASBARA: Pramila Patten, the UN liar and prevaricator supreme. She is the one person at the UN who is saying this BS, So it is not like there was an investigation or a committee or a working group or even more than one person involved.
In fact, Patten's report even admits that a "fully-fledged investigation" would be required to establish the truth.
Patten carries the title; "special envoy for sexual violence in conflict", so this is her specialty, and she enjoys making splashy pronouncements designed to get her - Pramila Patten - on TV and in the news. But when you actually READ the Reuters article, you realise that Patten HAS NOTHING.
In fact, here is a great analysis of the UN report, which debunks the whole thing.
"The report does not, in fact, reach many of the conclusions for which it is being lauded in Western media, and several of its findings undermine the Israeli narrative. "
Patten merely says that there are "reasonable grounds to believe" that sexual violence happened on October 7, and that she has seen "Credible circumstantial information,,which may be indicative of some forms of sexual violence".
Note that Patten uses the words "circumstantial information" rather than "circumstantial evidence" or "circumstantial proof".
Also, Patten did not do her investigation until February 2024, so her accounts and findings are not very solid, given that the people involved had three months top gather actual "evidence" and "proof".
Nope. Sorry. Once again, what you are presenting as "eye witness accounts" and "proof" is not that at all - it is just a collection of "information" and third hand hearsay accounts that Israeli hasbarists like you can weave into your Zionist "Gish Gallop".
