Russian military production has practically doubled since last fall. People in the West say that Putin is an "autocrat". Well, one advantage of being an autocrat is you can simply order your military industrial complex to produce more tanks. And that is what they did.

Same with artillery munitions. Russia has a 10/1 superiority, and will continue to hold that.

Even the Western media has reported that Putin is prepared for a "long war" - and he has supplies for 30 month long conflict.

The West is not, and it never has been:

"US and NATO lack capability to supply a long war"

Yaakov, you should keep in mind that this war is an "existential" conflict Russia. The Russians believe that they are fighting for the very survival of Russia itself - Russian territory, Russian culture, Russian society, Russian lives.

150 million people have been galvanised by a range of Western behaviours that have convinced them of this - everything from the "unprecedented" illegal sanctions, to the issuance of an arrest warrant for their President, to the drones attacking the Kremlin - not to mention a bunch of Russian NeoNazis in US vehicles attacking Russian villages.

Putin has put the entire Russian economy on a war footing. They are no longer making T-90s for export. The Russians are fighting for their lives.

What is the West fighting for?

If you asked Western leaders, they would tell you that they are fighting to "defend the international rules based order" and to "not let Putin get away with invading a neighbour" - or something else equally innocuous.

SecDef Lloyd Austin gave it away when he said the US was in Ukraine to "weaken Russia".

The most rabid war cry you will ever hear from the West is no doubt some of the pronouncements from Senator Lindsay Graham, who embodies the pro-war wing of the US government.

"Russians need to pay a price".

"Russians are dying, and it's the best money we ever spent".

All that did was make the Russians more intent on winning.

So there you have it - one side is fighting because they all believe their lives depend on it. The other side is fighting because Joe Biden believes his next election depends on it.
