Ridiculous. Joe Biden said it quite plainly at a press conference with Scholz: "If the Russians invade Ukraine, I promise you, we will bring an end to it".

Can't get much clearer than that.

But you seem fascinated with these false flag conspiracy theories:

1) Russia blows up its own gas pipeline - to forever end its ability for rapprochement with Germany and the EU; to turn a $50 Billion investment into "a hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea" (as Victoria Nuland said); and to strike a blow at its own economy in a permanent way?

2) Russia slaughters 140 of its own young people - in order to show how weak and ineffective Putin is and how the incompetent Russian state cannot keep its people safe?

3) Russia shells its own troops guarding a nuclear power plant in order to kill its own soldiers and endanger all of Europe including itself?

Cliff, there is no way that the Europeans would be "mad" at Ukraine over Nord Stream. As I mentioned up top, if it was Ukraine, they would have only been doing what US policy was. The US had been trying to shut down Nord Stream since thye first pipe was laid in 2011. Whoever blew up Nord Stream was doing the US a huge favour.

And Europe always does what the US wants.

Besides, the pipeline had already been shut down for 10 months when it blew up.
