Putin is not evil. He is an ethno-nationalist. You can say that his believing in the Russian people, the Russian nation, and the Russian "way of life" is a fault, but the Russians love him for it.

You probably live in a country where such things as "nationalism" and "populism" are condemned, And so you think that a leader who is putting his country and his people above all else is "evil".
