Once again you put your abject IGNORANCE on display. There is a great difference between illegally seizing and occupying territory in a hostile state, which is what the US is doing in Syria, and to have a formal, legally binding Treaty that includes long term leases for military bases and facilities, which is what Russia has had with Syria for the past 50 years.
Yes, that's right: the Russian naval and air bases are LEASED from the Syrian government under internationally recognised formal agreements.
The US, by contrast is indeed OCCUPYING Syria illegally. The US is also in Iraq illegally, as the Iraqi Parliament has voted and demanded that the US leave; yet they remain. That is ALSO a form of illegal occupation.
Secondly, your comment regarding Trump "turning" on Putin are purely insane. You seem to mistake the entire relationship dynamic. Putin does not need Trump. Russia is a sovereign nation and refuses to become a vassal to the West. That is, after all, the entire root of the current conflict in Ukraine.
Trump and Putin are EQUALS. Neither one "needs" the other. The US and Russia are both nuclear powers, and indeed Russia has even MORE nuclear weapons than does the US. Having thousands of nuclear warheads and ICBMs to carry them means you are independent and you don't need to bend the knee to anyone.
Finally, regarding your ridiculous comment that "Most countries with US bases live in peace" - what absolute hogwash!
Aside from the US bases in the Middle East, which are frequent targets of attack,
the United States AFRICOM command maintains 30 military bases in 15 African states, almost ALL of which are at war internally or externally with terrorists, rebels or foreign invaders.
Look at South Korea nd the unrest there, or the massive riots and violence against the US presence in places like Okinawa, Japan. Once again you parade your ignorance as if stupidity were a virtue.
