On the winning side? Russia WAS the winning side. The USSR lost 25 MILLION PEOPLE fighting Nazi Germany. Every family in Russia lost people to the war against Nazis. It was a HOLOCAUST of epic proportions.

We call it WWII. They call it "The Great Patriotic War". There is a reason for that. It was the USSR that bore the brunt of the war effort to defeat Nazi Germany.

The Baltic States? Please, send me some links about the partisan resistance efforts and the heroes of the resistance against the Nazis in the Baltic States. I admit I am ignorant of such, because all I can find online are stories about the Waffen SS divisions that were recruited from the Baltic States.
