Not really.
The great migrations of Jews from the Holocaust after WWII and then from the former Soviet Republics in the 1990's means that the ruling elites in Israel are not semitic, but rather Ashkenazi Jews whose origins go back to Central and Eastern Europe. They have no familial or cultural ties with the indigenous population, and indeed there is even a problem with racist tensions between the European Jews and the "native" Mizrahi Jews from the Levant.
"Israel to measure inequality between Mizrahi and Ashkenazi Jews with new statistics"
It is this racial divide that allows Ashkenazi Jews like Yoav Gallant, Israel's Defense Minister, whose parents came from Poland, to condemn Palestinians as "human animals".
European Jews, it seems, have a general disregard if not hatred for brown people, which is probably why they get along so well with the ruling elites in North America.
