No. It started with the ATO.

The Russian actions in 2014 were in response to the Kiev coup regime's declaration of their "Anti-Terrorist Operation" in early April 2014, which was launched following a visit from CIA director John Brennan to Kiev.

As far as Girkin is concerned, he is a well-known criminal and "Kremlin critic" who was kicked out of the FSB. I think he is a self-promoter who is like the rooster taking credit for the sunrise.

I do agree that the Cold War never eneded. But even the Cold War was just a stagem a chapter in the ongoing hate-filled anti-Russian conflict started by the Anglo-Saxons 200 years ago. Known colloquially as The Great Game, the Anglo-Russian conflict started because the British Empire of the 1800's was jealous and more than a little fearful of the great Russian Empire. This was because Britain was a maritime power whilst Russia was a land-based power, and - as Wikipedia tells us - "The two colonial empires used military interventions and diplomatic negotiations to acquire and redefine territories in Central and South Asia." You may have even heard of one skirmish in this Great Game - it was called the Crimean War.

In short, the Brits have been trying to contain, degrade and break up Russia for 300 years, and now the Americans have joined the fray.

And whilst the military baton was handed off to the US during the Cold War, the espionage activities have continued to be spearheaded by MI6 (as we saw with Navalny).

The Russophobia that plagues the West is racism, pure and simple. It is a fear of the mysterious Orienatals, combined with a racist, white supremacist view of the Slavs as “Untermenschen”. That is why the CUA and the MI6 were so happy to work with Nazis and Banderites after WWII. They shared a common racist view of Russia and Russians.

I am an against Nazism, I am against racism, I am against militarism, which is why I stick up for Russia.

As far as your ridiculous and inchoate assertion that "the interview went nowhere" i think that is just one more case of a UkroNazi fan whistling past the graveyard. If it was so insignificant, why did Ukrainian secret services try to have Tucker Carlson killed?
