NATO will never let Ukraine in.

Ukraine will never meet the criteria for NATO membership, especially those concerning corruption, democracy, etc.

Ukraine exists only for supplying manpower for NATO wars. But the NATO countries would never go to war over Ukraine. They simply do not care about Ukraine, except for how Ukraine can help NATO inflict pain on Russia.
