LOL! The US has been doing most of the tossing in the past 100 years. Indeed, the US has been messing with Ukraine since the UkSSR was first founded and the OUN-UPA were looking for allies in their "liberation struggle" against Russia.
Then, once the CIA was founded, they immediately set about working with the UPA holdouts to undermine and sabotage Russia. The Americans even gave Stepan Bandera safe haven in West Germany so that he could organise the "resistance" from his UPA stalwarts in Western Ukraine. Bandera lived comfortably in Germany until the KGB finally assassinated him in 1959 (probably at the behest of the Poles).
Indeed, the CIA has been fighting a covert proxy war in Ukraine for the past 75 years.
Then, the 1990's saw a massive ramp-up in US activity in Ukraine. Zbigniew Brzezinski, Bill Clinton's National Security Advisor, was a Russophobic racist who was constantly promoting the use of Ukraine to "hurt" Russia.
As he wrote in his 1997 book, The Grand Chessboard,
"Ukraine, a new and important space on the Eurasian chessboard, is a geopolitical pivot because its very existence as an independent country helps to transform Russia. Without Ukraine, Russia ceases to be a Eurasian empire.”
And of course once Putin took over the helm in Moscow, the American activities in Ukraine stepped up even further. George Friedman, who is the Founder and CEO of Stratfor, the ‘Shadow CIA’ firm, says of the overthrow of Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych that occurred on February 22nd of 2014 was "the most blatant coup in history.”
Which all begs the question: are you calling the US a "Nazi regime"?
I guess, if the fascist shoe fits ...
