In case you have not been paying attention, the Western narrative is entirely predicated on the "irrationality" of Russia and Putin.

It was irrational for Putin to invade Ukraine.

It was irrational for Putin to think that he could defeat NATO.

It was irrational for Putin to blow up Russia's Nord Stream 2.

It was irrational for Putin to blow up the Kerch Strait Bridge.

It was irrational for Putin to blow up Russia's Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline.

It was irrational for Putin to blow up the Kakhovka Dam.

It will be equally irrational when he blows up the ZNPP - which the Ukrainians claim he is planning to do.

All of these actions are bad for Russia. They hurt Russia and Russians while bringing no benefit.

So PLEASE - do not go making any sort of argument that is based on Putin being a rational actor.

You and your ilk have spent the past 18 months telling us that Putin is NOT a rational actor.
