I believe that in some (if not many) ways they are. In the USA, 70% of the people want the government to stop supplying Israel with arms. The odds of that ever happening is ZERO.

Likewise, for the past 45 years, polls sho that 2/3 of Ameericans want to have a natiuonal health care system, similar to what they have in Russia and China (and most of the rest of the world).

This matter does not even come up for debate in our "democracy".

The minimum wage has not been increased since the 1970's, despite most of the people wanting it.

The United States is not a democracy; it is an oligarchy. But it is an oligarchy that does not fear the People.

In Russia and China, at least, the governments know something about the peoples' revolutions, and they at least make an effort to keep people happy. Putin and Xi know that if they do not keep the population happy, they will have problems.

In America, the government works to keep people suppressed and precarious, so they cannot ever revolt. The US government responds to its donors and the international capitalists, the globalists, the WEF scum who want to rule the world. Russian and China not doing that.
