I am sorry if you are not a fan of Russian classical music and ballet. I am.

Regarding your convoluted analogy of the three year old: to formulate any such framework that characterises the Russians (or a Russian) as "spoiled" is not just invalid, it is simply ludicrous.

But then I guess I should not be surprised - by your own admission, you never paid any attention to Russia, you are completely ignorant of Russia, as you admit, but like so many Westerners, you refuse to let your complete ignorance of the situation get in the way of your self-righteous opining on who is wrong, who is right, and what should be done.

Sigh. I am so disappointed in you Swedes. Such a long and hallowed tradition of neutrality, and now you are willing to throw it all away in your quest for NATO membership. You have let your toxic Russophobia get the better of you.

Sweden benefitted from its neutrality by being able to spend its money on building a generous social welfare state instead of having to waste its money on defence. Your neutrality protected you.

But now?

The kronor you pay in taxes will have to go towards a much larger military commitment, which means less money available for health care, education, public transit and social services.

Oh - and in addition to that, you are now a target for nuclear annihilation if war with Russia ever breaks out.

Congratulations!
