I am sorry, but even the MSM outlets like the Wall Street Journal disagree with you.

"WSJ: Western Officials Knew Ukraine Didn’t Have Enough Weapons and Training for Counteroffensive"

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/ukraines-lack-of-weaponry-and-training-risks-stalemate-in-fight-with-russia/ar-AA1edW4t

"But the Journal report noted that the US and its Western allies would never launch an offensive without air superiority, something Ukraine doesn’t have. Despite the situation on the battlefield for Ukrainians, the US wants Ukraine to try to push harder to break through against Russian forces regardless of the risk of major casualties."

The West pushed Ukraine to launch the counteroffensive even though they knew that they could not win. But they hoped that the Ukrainians could at least inflict major casualties on Russian forces before they themselves were wiped out. As Senator Graham pointed out, "Russians dying" is the goal of the whole exercise.

The West has been killing Ukrainians ever since Boris Johnson was sent to force Zelensky to reject the peace deal last year.

No one in their right mind could have seriously believed that Ukraine could defeat Russia.

Unfortunately, it appears that many in the West - Johnson, Blinken, Biden, Sullivan , Nuland, etc. - were NOT in their right mind. That is the whole purpose of my recent article:

"How the West Descended Into Idiocy"

My thesis states that the Western powers were "getting high on their won supply" and started believing their own Russophobic propaganda.

As we know from the Wall Street Journal article, the whole strategy behind the Ukrainian Counteroffensive was based on the "hope" that, when Ukraine attacked, the Russians would just turn tail and run away. That the Russian forces were demoralised, under-armed, under-provisioned, led by incompetent leaders, and so on.

None of this was true.

You yourself seem to think that Russia can be "utterly defeated".

I have a newsflash for you: RUSSIA HAS THE MOST NUCLEAR WEAPONS OF ANY COUNTRY ON EARTH.

What you are arguing simply makes no sense. You portray Putin as a brutal dictator, a madman with "imperialistic ambitions". In this you are parroting the dominant narrative.

But then you also seem to think that this crazed, brutal megalomaniac, who is bent on world domination and is a "modern day Hitler" will allow himself and his country and his people to be "utterly defeated" (your words).

How will this happen? Will Putin suddenly come to his senses and see the error of his ways and capitulate? Will he be afraid to use nuclear weapons? Will he fear being thought poorly of for having incinerated the earth? Will he be willing to sacrifice himself and his country for the "greater good" of the world?

Seriously, I want to know under what scenario you envision the total defeat of Russia WITHOUT invoking a nuclear war?

Do you think that if Hitler had nukes he would not have used them?

I remind you that the US did not hesitate to use nukes in WWII - AND WE WERE WINNING.
