Funny, I do not think it is "late in the day". In fact, I think it is the opposite. It is finally, after 1 year, possible to assert a countervailing view to oppose the dominant narrative pervading Western media. The Germans are waking up to the fact that if they send their technically advanced Leopards to Ukraine, 70% of them will end up being sold on the dark web or will be abandoned and allowed to fall into Russian hands. That's progress.

Of course, the US is refusing to send the Abrams tanks for the same reason, but no one is mentioning that!
