Firstly, Russia is going to great lengths NOT to destroy Ukraine's infrastructure. They want to have a functioning system when they take over.

This is why they call it a SMO and not a "war".

If it were a war, the Russians would have done to Ukraine what trhe Americans did to Iraq (and what the Western experts were all expecting Russia to do, BTW).

If the Russians were at "war", there would not be a functioning power plant in Ukraine. Forget about arguing over who has control of the plants - they would all just go away.

There would be no more bridges or functioning railways. People in Liviv would not be going out to discos.
