By "cross training" I meant gaining familiarity and skill with Russian equipment and weapons systems. Knowing how to use them is different from knowing when and where in the heat of battle.
The exchanges to which I referred included small groups of 1000-3000 DPRK "trainers" who would then return to DPRK and train their compatriots.
The idea that Russia, which has currently 1,300,000 men under arms and is recruiting 40,000 new recruits every month, would need to go to all the trouble to incorporate a small force of 10,000 North Koreans simply does not make sense. In short, the Korean force that you and others are claiming Russia has deployed out of necessity is only as large as the number of new recruits that Russia gains EACH WEEK.
