Bullpuckie. Is Russia offering signing bonuses to people who volunteer? Of course! This is nothing new. The US Army offers free university,, and even a $50,000 signing bonus for new recruits!

The big difference, of course, is that the US recruits are not going to have to actually fight in a "hot" war - the Russians will. They know they may die, but they are signing up anyway.

Yes, in times of peace, offers of rewards for volunteering work to attract recruits who might do other things. But in times of war, it is patriotism more than anything else that convinces a young man to risk his life for his country.

SHAME on you for denigrating these young men and their motives.
