Both Applebaum and the Atlantic are propaganda outlets for the neoliberal/neoconservative military industrial complex and the American imperial hegemon.

Applebaum is a deranged “Russiagater” whose whole raison d’etre is bnased on an unhinged hatred of all things Russian and all things Putin. She is sick.

Now, you may be an American imperialist. You may think that the US maintaining 1000 military bases around the world is a good thing. You may think that the US has a role to play as the schoolyard bully imposing its will on weaker nations. You have that right. But then I am against you.

PS: I remember when Applebaum’s husband, European Parliament member Radoslaw Sikorski, made headlines by publicly thanking the United States for sabotaging the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
