As I mentioned above, "Hamas" is just an acronym for the Arabic, "Islamic Resistance Movement". Every occupied people have the right to resist their occupier, as per Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions of 1949, and the United Nations , as well as every major human rights group on the planet, have ruled that Israel is an occupier - even of Gaza, and what's more, that the Israeli occupation of Palestine is ILLEGAL.

The fact that they are an occupied people, and that the occupation under which they suffer is ILLEGAL, means that the Palestinians' right to resist is even more pronounced, more righteous, and more justified.

In other words, the international community and international law itself is clear: Israel may not take away the Palestinians' right to resist their illegal occupation.

And no amount of Israeli Hasbara will alter that fact.
