Are you by chance a lawyer specialised in international law?

Firstly, Gaza is not a "country", landlocked or otherwise That is an important distinction. Gaza is an occupied territory. Secondly, Israel is the occupier of that territory and exercises complete control over that territory. In short, Israel's occupation of Gaza never ended, and that means that Israel does not have any "right to self defense".

In fact, the opposite obtains, Israel in fact has an OBLIGATION to provide food, water, electricity and other "vital means of life" to the occupied population under its control.

The UN has ruled many times that Israel is breaking international law through its illegal occupation of Palestinian lands, but I suppose that means nothing to a rank Zionist like yourself.
