Israel makes a ridiculous argument that ALL Israelis are somehow indigenous to the Levant, which is ridiculous. Most of the Israeli elites trace their roots back to central and eastern Europe. An Israeli is any Jew wjo wants to become an Israeli. A Jew whose family was from Poland or New York has more inherent rights in the Israeli state than an Arab Israeli whose roots go back 1000's of years in that area. Palestinians are defined by where they are from, the Land of Palestine, and yet the Israelis, as settler colonialists, are seeking to rob them of that birthright.
